Veterinary surgeons

  • Roger Stobbs BVSc MRCVS

Roger started working at the practice in 1990 as a Saturday boy, and returned in 2000 after qualifying as a veterinary surgeon in 1998. He is now the practice principal. Roger has a little deaf Jack Russell terrier called Tatty, a cat called Bertie, and a collection of weird and wonderful exotic species.

  • John Adams BVSc MBA MRCVS

John founded the practice in 1989, and has built it from a one-man practice to the current five-vet team operating over two sites. He now works part-time from the Fordingbridge clinic. He is the proud owner of Pesto, a lovely terrier cross who Roger delivered by caesarean at the practice; and two Burmese cats called Hope and Faith.

  • Alice McLeish BVM&S MRCVS

Alice graduated from Edinburgh University in 2016, and has moved south to find the sun!  She plays the oboe. Alice has also been adopted by a stray kitten from the clinic, and is now the proud owner of Albus, a grey and white cat.

  • Heidi Wyatt BVetMed MRCVS

Heidi has been a small animal vet for over 20 years and trained in acupuncture 17 years ago. She is a member of the Association of British Veterinary Acupuncturists. Her husband is a primary school teacher and she has two teenage daughters. In her spare time she looks after her 2 rescue ponies, a bouncy two year old Labrador and grumpy rescue terrier as well as 2 rescue ginger cats Bob and Harry. She enjoys horse riding, needlework and walking in the New Forest.

  • Louise Nixon BVetMed MRCVS

Louise joined us in April 2018 having worked in nearby in small animal practice for the last 11 years. She qualified 20 years ago from the Royal Veterinary College in London. She has a cheeky food thieving bengal cat. In her spare time Louise enjoys outdoor adventures such as triathlons and windsurfing.
