Receptionists

  • Caroline Metcalfe

Caroline has been part of the team since 2004 working as a receptionist and is mainly based at our Ringwood clinic.  She has three cats called Bart, Willow and Blackie and a guinea pig called Dumpling!!.  Caroline has loved animals all her life and every day is a pleasure coming to work here at the practice where she can see all her ‘animal friends’.

  • Sandra Collins

Sandra joined the Fordingbridge reception team in May 2013. She is owned by two cats – Omalley and Ned, both previous strays who have made themselves very much at home.

  • Fiona Gover

Fiona joined us in May 2013 working in Fordingbridge Reception. She has cows and ponies running on the Forest, and a trusty New Forest pony to ride out to check them, assisted by four working collies – Ellie, Pip, Flossie and Dotty. She lives with three farm cats who are slowly working on infiltrating the house. She also looks after two geese (Andy and Lizie) and a flock of bantams.

  • Ellen Downes

Ellen our receptionist team in 2016, and works mainly at our Fordingbridge clinic, although she joins Ringwood on a Friday afternoon. She has a gorgeous black labrador called Bessie.

  • Sue Pryor-Lettley

Sue joined our reception team in 2016, and works at Fordingbridge. She has a springer spaniel named Duchess and two ponies on the forest

  • Amanda Robinson

Amanda started in October 2016 and is based in our Ringwood Clinic.

  • Cheryl Frost

Cheryl joined us initially as an Animal Nursing Assistant, but life took her away from us for a few years. She has now returned to join our Ringwood reception team!

  • Jane Perry 

After being a client for many years Jane joined our Fordingbridge team in 2017. She has a very handsome boxer called Max

  • Ruth Morton

Ruth has returned to us after moving to Cornwall a few years ago. We are pleased to have her (and her dogs!) back with us. She is based mainly at the Fordingbridge practice.

Bookkeeping and Accounts

  • Lyn Barker

Lyn started here in 1999 as a receptionist. Most of her time is now spent looking after the practice books and accounts. She has a big ginger cat called Rufus who she adores.

Practice Administration

  • Sharon Stobbs VN

Sharon started at FVC as a  trainee veterinary nurse in 2000. She achieved her nursing qualification in 2001. She left to start a family in 2006, and now has the unenviable job of sorting all of the practice’s paperwork.
