In case of emergency during clinic hours call Forest Veterinary Clinic on 01425 652221 (Fordingbridge) or 01425 461462 (Ringwood).

Out of hours emergencies are dealt with by VetsNow, who have clinics in Wimborne and Salisbury – call 01202 859933 

Their current costs are £219.50 + £67 for a consultation. (August 2022)

VetsNow are a dedicated out-of-hours pet emergency service whose staff will care for your pet throughout the night and liaise with us to provide continuity of care.

There is an open surgery at our Fordingbridge Clinic for urgent cases only at 10am on Sundays and Bank Holidays (with the exception of Christmas Day and Boxing Day). Appointments are not necessary, however, our vet will leave once clients have been seen so please arrive promptly at 10am to guarantee your consultation.

If you are not registered with us, we would recommend using your own vet’s emergency service where possible to ensure continuity of care for your pets. If you are away from home, or if you are unable to contact your own veterinary practice, we will of course be more than happy to see your pet.
