  • Rachel Quick RVN 

Rachel is our practice Head Nurse who has recently returned from maternity leave after having her beautiful baby girl Jasmine. Rachel joined in 2010. She has two cats called Oreo and Pod, who Rachel hand-reared, and who is now house-training her grand-parents! She also has a 1 year old Cocker spaniel, Rachel achieved a certificate in Emergency and critical care after a 2 year course. She is also a newly qualified pet bereavement counsellor.

  • Samantha York RVN

Sam joined us in 2009 as an Animal Care Assistant and qualified July 2015.  She has a naughty cat called Guthrie who is always getting into scrapes so we see him quite regularly!

  • Charlotte Aldridge RVN

Charlotte joined us in January 2016, and completed her training with us, so is now a Registered Veterinary Nurse. She has two lovely bengal cats called Nala and Senna. Charlotte has recently returned part time after her maternity leave after having a handsome baby boy Reggie.

  • Hayley Doughty RVN

Hayley joined us in October 2015 and completed her training with us, So she is now a Registered Veterinary Nurse. She has a lovely cat called Sherbet.  She has a BSc (hons) in Zoology from Liverpool University and has gained experience with wildlife having taken a year to work at a wildlife rescue centre since qualifying. She has returned to us as a full time nurse back in June 2020.

  • Kerry Bygrave ANA 

Kerry joined us in November 2008, as a receptionist and loved working with the animals so much, she Qualified as an ANA in August 2010. She still helps between both areas and has 4 spaniels, Tazzie, Merlin, Cooper and Woody who you will see regularly behind the reception desk.

  • Ruth Morton ANA

Ruth has returned and joined us as a full time receptionist, she is a qualified ANA and enjoys helping out the Vets. She has 2 dogs Bluebell and Gypsy who was a rescue saluki.

Trainee Nurse

  • Esme Johnson

Esme joined us in August 2019. She started her nursing training in September this year. She has 3 dogs, 2 of which are crazy dalmations and a cross breed their names are Athena, Oakley and Pandora. She has a turtle called squirtle. She also has 5 cats- Tilly, Theodore, Tinkerbell, Faye and Hemmy. Esme trained for 2 years at Sparsholt college in animal management before arriving here at Forest Vets.
